Albo Esilaba

Executive Director

Albo Esilaba (born Albert Esilaba) is a Kenyan‑born pastor and non‑profit leader who has long championed male discipleship. Raised in Nairobi, he considers himself a “big city kid,” yet from early in his career he felt called to global ministry. Friends shortened his name to Albo, a nickname that stuck.

Albo’s ministry path has spanned continents. In 2015 he relocated from Nairobi to Milwaukee to take a pastoral role at Elmbrook Church, where he served as associate‑pastor. He helped Elmbrook expand its mission and multisite ministries and partnered with No Regrets Men’s Conference to train men in biblical discipleship. Those years deepened his passion for equipping men to follow Jesus in every aspect of life. Before joining No Regrets, Esilaba served as the Ann Arbor campus pastor for 2|42 Community Church in Michigan.

In his new role as Executive Director of No Regrets, he draws on nearly three decades of pastoral experience and a commitment to raising up leaders. He frequently reminds men that discipleship is “more than programs; it’s a movement of multiplication.” He oversees the annual No Regrets conference (hosted at Elmbrook Church) and develops training resources that help men grow in their faith, relationships and leadership.

Esilaba’s personal life further underscores his commitment to men’s discipleship: he and his wife, Mutheu, are raising three sons—Bulamu (“Bu”), Seo, and Tetezi (“Tezi”). Outside of work, he enjoys DJing, playing keyboards and board games, hobbies that help him connect with younger men and model a balanced life. Known as a “student of culture,” he relishes learning how different communities express their faith.

As he leads No Regrets Men’s Ministry, Albo Esilaba remains committed to multiplying discipleship. He envisions a movement of men who not only know Christ but actively disciple others—men who lead their families, workplaces and communities with courage, humility and purpose.
